CZS Members

General Members of the Club will include all Ex-Zilla Schoolians who have been admitted as Members of the Club in the following categories:

1. Life Member
2. Permanent Member
3. Donor Member
4. Honorary Member
5. Alumni Member
6. Associate Member

PERMANENT MEMBERS: Namely those members who have paid the membership fee as prescribed for Permanent Members and pay the annual subscriptions provided that the membership of such Members is not discontinued under Art. 40 to 42.

LIFE MEMBERS: Namely those members who have paid the membership fee as prescribed for    Life Members provided that the membership of such Members is not discontinued under Art. 40 to 42.

DONOR MEMBERS: Namely those members who have paid the membership fee as prescribed for Donor Members provided that the membership of such Members is not discontinued under Art. 40 to 42.

HONORARY MEMBERS:  With the consent of the Executive Committee, an Honorary Member may contribute to a specific field. However, they do not have the right to vote or participate in the Executive Committee election.

ALUMNI MEMBER: With the consent of the executive members, anyone who attended the Zilla School for at least one year may become an alumni member. However, they will not have the right to vote or participate in the election.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER: With the consent of the EC members, nominees or members of any renowned girls’ school may become members. In such cases, they will be considered Associate Members but will not have the right to vote or run for election.

A Permanent Member may be admitted as Life Member on payment of amount equivalent to difference between fees fixed for a Permanent Member and a Life Member.

The eligibility of General Members are:

1. A Zillaschoolian;
2. 30 years of age or 10 years has elapsed since passing out from any Zilla School;
3. not discontinued/disqualified from the membership of the Club under Arts. 40. (b), (c), (e) subject to the conditions as provided in Art 43, (f) or (h)

The General Member has to declare a “nominee” in the membership application, which may be changed by the General Member through written request.

While selecting the Nominee, the following sequence is preferred:

1. Spouse.
2. Child.
3. Friends/relatives, subject to approval from EC.

The nominee may or may not be a ZILLASCHOOLian.

Subject to the approval of EC, a General Member, in his/her life time, may transfer his/her membership to his/her nominee, if the ‘nominee’ is a Zillaschoolian and fulfils the eligibility criteria to become a General Member, following the due procedure and on payment of the applicable fee as may be determined by the EC.

In the event of death of a General Member, his/her nominee, if the ‘nominee’ is a ZillaSchoolian and fulfils the eligibility criteria to become a Life/Permanent Member, he/she become a Life/Permanent Member, subject to the approval of EC.
